Who am I?
As you might have gathered, I’m Courtney Elizabeth King. Here’s some background information in third-person:
Courtney Elizabeth King is currently working on her MA in Literature at Washington State University. She graduated from Truman State University where she had the opportunity to present at three Truman-hosted conferences and the National Conference of Undergraduate Research. After receiving her Bachelor’s she packed up her books, yarn, fabric, and pets and moved West where she is pursuing her disparate interests in ecocriticism, classical studies, graphic novels, and rural women.
As most graduate students in the humanities, she has no concrete plans for the future but hopes to someday be employed and able to feed herself and her bookshelf sufficiently. Working with those under-represented in the academy is especially important to her and she hopes to make a small difference with people often relegated to the margins of the institution.
